Learn how to tie the Uni Knot or (Universal knot) which is a great knot for attaching the backing to the spool of your reel ready to wind on. This is our preferred knot but there are also other knots available for the same purpose.
TIP: The uni knot can be used for many fishing application, from attaching the backing to the reel, tying on a fly, or use a double uni knot to tie two pieces of tippet together. When tying on a fly try teasing the knot back after pulling tight to allow you to fish your fly on a swinging loop.
