The Water knot is a quick easy knot used to tie a dropper on to your leader. Easy to tie and reliable and can be used to attach two lengths of tippet together also. We like to use four turns but if using lighter tippet material you can increase to 5 turns.

Useful tip
You can add a dropper to your full length leader, or overlap two pieces (optional different diameters to create a tapered leader) to create a dropper or trim both tag ends for a tapered leader.
