The opportunity:

As Product and Production assistant – Apparel & Accessories at Loop, you will support the entire product team in the creation of products with a focus on hands-on coordination of managing products in various stages of development, including managing styles on repeat bulk orders

The Team:

You will be part of a small but growing team. You’ll collaborate with an internal designer, product developer, pattern maker, product line manager and external partners to create world-class products. This team will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to bring ideas to commercial success

Day-to-day work would include:

· Assisting in the development of products, including interpreting design, coordinating prototype and sample creation, from concept through to commercialization.

· Booking sample and raw materials for bulk production

· Compiling all product materials/construction information, and maintaining accurate pattern libraries and bill of materials (BOM) information, resulting in efficient raw material sourcing/purchasing and accurately produced finished product

· Assisting Design in documenting product standards and technical specifications for all products.

· Assisting with Product development and design in technical specifications and detailed sketches.

· Maintaining a library of sample rounds and comments, tracking decisions, and following up with our manufacturing partners.

· Managing and tracking incoming and outgoing parcels and samples.

· Managing and tracking lab dips, prototypes and sample material orders

· Supporting sales and marketing with relevant materials and tasks.

· Driving traceability and product passport requirements to prepare Loop for the coming legislation and reporting

Background and skills:

· You have 1-3 years’ experience in product development and buying/production, preferably with a focus on technical, apparel and knowledge of performance materials and technical construction.

· You are detail-oriented and accuracy-oriented with strong organizational skills.

· You are proficient in Microsoft Office.

· You have an understanding of the product lifecycle process, from ideation to end-user.

· You demonstrate initiative, agility, and commitment while balancing autonomy and collaboration.

· You have excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.

· You inspire innovative thinking and continuous improvement.

· You are collaborative by nature and a multitasker.

· You are proficient in English
